Even if some of these can be considered plausible explanations, it goes without saying that eating out frequently is not recommended at all. An occasional ‘food binge’ might be okay even if you are a ‘food faddie’ or not, but frequent eating out, whatever the reasons for it, is unacceptable. Home cooking has its enormous charms, and thankfully, too few people deny the charms of home cooked food. Everyone is happy to have food cooked at home with excellent recipes. That is, everyone enjoys delicious home cooked food so far as they do not have to do the cooking themselves. In other words, cooking is forced to bear the stamp of a tedious chore. This is a rather unjust burden that is forced upon it. Cooking is an art, and a talent people can cultivate if they have some interest. Time is ripe for the reverse evolution of getting addicted to home cooking and delicious recipes instead of getting addicted to the chips and fries of fast food chains. Trying out new recipes has its own reward. There are plenty of recipes to choose from, starting from a variety of appetizers and ending with an array of desserts. Though some dishes may entail laborious work, there are enough simple ones you can choose from. And ensure that there is variety in your cooking. One of the reasons people opt to eat out is the monotonousness of home cooked food. Too many people use the same menu for lunch and dinner and this could make mealtimes unappetizing. Try out new and exotic recipes. Incorporate some novelty into your cooking. Different family members would obviously have different tastes, and unless there is variety and novelty in home cooked food, it is not possible to attract all family members to the meal table. Vegetarianism and Veganism is in fashion. Fusion food is a gourmet’s passion. Outdoor grills are fun. Salad carving and food decor are arts that can be developed to perfection. Each of these simple statements offers a world of information and lots of challenges to those who are interested in home cooking and are keen to improve their knowledge of the art. Further, when you are using recipes, you have ample opportunity to concentrate on the nutritional aspects of the family’s diet. Be careful of the calories in your dishes, even while giving importance to its taste and appearance. Barbecuing and grilling outdoors can be great fun. If you have space to manage that, it is one of the best facets of home cooking and an ideal way in which the whole family can join in the cooking and share its fruits together. Above all, remember that cooking is not just for one’s own family. Invite your friends and relatives on festival days and have a barbecue outside or use your best recipes inside to entertain them. You will soon realize that it is a very rewarding experience. Please do visit our site for hundreds of Free Recipes for Home Cooking – Veg Recipes, Vegan Recipes, appetizers, salads, soups, main course dishes, chili recipes, desserts, Cookie Recipes, Chocolate recipes and an extensive cooking guide.

There are thousands of Vegetarian Recipes, Vegan Recipes and Recipes for meat based dishes that are available on hundreds of websites. Some of these Home cooking recipes have been handed down through generations from mother to daughter and mother-in-law to daughter-in-law. Although humans have been consuming vegetables and plant products, along with meat and other animal products, for many millennia, vegetarianism dissuades consumption of all types of meat, and eggs too. Some communities do not consider eggs as a non-vegetarian item, but in countries like India, eggs are not considered vegetarian and are not consumed by strict vegetarians. Many individuals are used to meat and egg based dishes, along with a few veggies in salads and soups. But they are unaware that there are thousands of Veg Recipes available that can be used to make a complete meal, including soups, starters, appetizers, main course dishes, and desserts. Vegetarianism evolved with religions and cultures over many millennia. Many religions like Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism have strict rules regarding food consumption. Meat and eggs, and products made from these are strictly prohibited in many religions, castes, and communities. Thus evolved the dependence on vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices. This led to the evolution of Vegetarian Recipes over the millennia, with each caste, community, and even individual households having their own variations of standard recipes and ways to cook food. Vegetarianism is gaining ground in western countries like the US, UK, and Europe, but the opposite is happening in Eastern countries like India, where people are becoming more aware of western meat dishes and recipes. Although vegetarianism does not exclude animal products like milk, and products made from milk, like butter, Ghee, sweets, chocolates, desserts, ice creams, etc, Veganism excludes these too. Donald Watson and Elsie Shringley started veganism and the Vegan Society in 1944. Veganism excludes all animal products as food, including milk and milk products. Anything that involves exploitation of animals for food, clothing, or any purpose is excluded for use. As veganism evolved, so did Vegan Recipes, which excluded all animal products for food consumptions. Veganism still includes all vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices, and there are hundreds of Recipes available for vegans. Although Fast food and eating out in restaurants has become a necessity due to the hectic lifestyle, many families are turning back to healthy home cooking and the recipes handed down from past generations are coming in handy. Many individuals are also willing to try new Veg Recipes, meat and egg based Recipes and even Vegan Recipes. As they say, variety is the spice of life, and adding some variety to daily meals is sure to entice the family back to the dining table, instead of ordering pizzas and burgers, or taking the family out to lunch and dinner, which is an expensive affair. Please do visit our site for hundreds of Free Recipes and Vegan Recipes – Veg dishes, Vegan dishes, appetizers, salads, soups, main course dishes, chili recipes, desserts, Cookie Recipes, Chocolate recipes and an extensive cooking guide.

FOOD INFORMATION

Many people assume that if a hamburger is brown in the middle, it is done. However, looking at the color and texture of food is not enough—you have to use a food thermometer to be sure! According to USDA research, 1 out of every 4 hamburgers turns brown before it reaches a safe internal temperature. The only safe way to know if meat, poultry, and egg dishes are “done” is to use a food thermometer. When a hamburger is cooked to 160 °F, it is both safe and delicious!

MADE, PRODUCED IN CHINA GET WARNING

Public confidence in the Made in China label has been rocked in recent years by a series of product safety scandals.
Most recently, tainted milk claimed the lives of four children in China and sickened tens of thousands, and triggered import bans of Chinese-made dairy products across the globe.
The United Nations released a report Wednesday urging China to set up a single regulatory agency to monitor the safety of food products from the farm to the table.
The report says China’s oversight of food products is split between numerous agencies and their tasks complicated by numerous laws and regulations.
WHO food Safety Chief Jorgen Schlundt says the cumbersome system resulted in a slow response when the tainted milk scandal emerged in September.
Chinese milk producers added the industrial chemical melamine in their products to make them appear richer in protein. Melamine can cause kidney stones, and even life-threatening kidney failure in some cases.

On October 20, 2008, Confirmed cases of E.coli were linked to a Harvey’s Restaurant in North Bay Ontario.

More confirmed cases rose to 35-health officials claim. Health officials also said they know of a total of confirmed case of E coli 0157:H7 in the outbreak, involving eight health units in Ontario.

The out break was likely caused by human error rather then undercooked hamburger meat, a professor of food sciences, University of Manitoba, who has worked for Agriculture Canada.
